2. TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data
With regard to technical aspects and protocols only, we wish to inform you that:
  • The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website may acquire some personal data during their normal operation, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
  • This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified Data Subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow the identification of the Users.
  • This category of data includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by Users who connect to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the User's operating system and IT environment.
  • These data can be used to ascertain any responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the website.

Cookies and other tracking tools
Cookies are small text files that are sent from the website you visit to your device (usually your browser), where they are stored so that they can recognise your device the next time you visit. In fact, on each subsequent visit, cookies are sent back to the website from the User's device. Each cookie generally contains: the name of the server from which the cookie was sent, the expiry date and a value, usually a unique number generated at random by the computer. The website server that transfers the cookie uses this number to recognise the User when they return to a website or navigate from one page to another. Cookies can be installed not only by the same operator of the website visited by the User (first-party cookies) but also by a different website that installs cookies through the first website (third party cookies) and is able to recognise them. This happens because on the website visited there may be elements (images, maps, sounds, links to web pages of other domains, etc.) that reside on servers other than that of the website visited.
In general, cookies are classified into different types based on:
Duration:
  • session (temporary) cookies are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
  • persistent cookies are active until the expiration date or cancellation by the user.

Origin:
  • first-party cookies are sent to the browser directly from the website being visited.
  • third-party cookies are sent to the browser from other websites and not from the website being visited.

Purpose:
  • technical cookies
  • navigational/essential/performance/process or security cookies contribute to the operation of the website, e.g. allows you to navigate between pages or access secure areas. If it is blocked, the website cannot function properly.
  • functionality/preferences/localisation/session status cookies allow storing information that changes the behaviour or appearance of the website (preferred language, text and font size, geographical area in which you are located). If blocked, the experience is less functional but not impaired.
  • statistical/analytic cookies: a) first-party or b) third-party with IP masking, without data crossing (whose purposes are similar to technical cookies), are used to collect information and generate statistics on the use of the website to understand how visitors interact.
  • non-technical cookies
  • third-party statistical/analytic cookies without IP masking, with data crossing, are used to collect information, generate usage statistics, with possible identification and tracking of the website user, in order to understand how visitors interact.
  • profiling/advertising/tracking/conversion cookies for the selection of advertising based on what is relevant for a user (personalised ads). Profiling cookies are designed to create users' profiles and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences shown by the users browsing the internet.

HV HYDRAULIC SRL has implemented the obligations laid down in the Provision of the Italian Data Protection Authority Identification of simplified procedures for the provision of information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies - 8 May 2014 (Published in the Official Gazette No. 126 of 3 June 2014)", as well as subsequent interventions of the Control Authority on the subject of "cookies" (in particular, the Guidelines for cookies and other tracking tools - 10 June 2021). Below you will find all the information about the cookies installed through this website, and the necessary information on how to manage your preferences regarding them. HV HYDRAULIC SRL wishes to inform Users that its website (https://www.hvhydraulic.com/) may use the following types of cookies:

  • First and/or third-party technical cookies
These cookies are necessary for the correct functioning of our website: they are cookies used to carry out navigation or to provide a service requested by the User; they are not used for further purposes and are installed directly by the Data Controller. Without the use of these cookies, certain operations could not be carried out or would be more complex and/or less secure. The aforementioned cookies cannot be disabled using the functions of this website but can be deactivated through the settings of your browser at any time. Deactivating them may prevent the optimal use of certain areas of the website.

  • Cookies assimilated to technical cookies (third-party analytical cookies assimilated to technical cookies)
Our website uses third-party cookies for statistical purposes. In particular, our website uses Google Analytics: this is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"), which uses cookies that are stored on your computer to allow statistical analysis in an aggregated and anonymous manner regarding the use of the website visited. Please note that these cookies have been assimilated to technical cookies: in particular, according to the provisions of the Guidelines on Cookies and Other Tracking Tools - 10 June 2021:
- the possibility that, through their use, the direct identification of the Data Subject (so-called single out) can be achieved by masking appropriate portions of the IP address in the cookie. Considering the 32-bit representation of IP version 4 (IPv4) addresses, which are usually represented and used as a sequence of four decimal numbers between 0 and 255 separated by a dot, at least the fourth component of the address has been masked (an option that introduces an uncertainty in the attribution of the cookie to a specific Data Subject equal to 1/256 - about 0.4%). Similar procedures are also adopted with regard to version 6 IP addresses (IPv6), which have a different structure and a much larger address space (being made up of binary numbers represented with 128 bits).
- the use of analytics cookies is limited solely to the production of aggregate statistics; these cookies are used in relation to a single website or a single mobile application, so as not to allow tracking of a person's browsing when using different applications or browsing different websites.
- the third party - GOOGLE (a third party, which provides the web measurement service), may not, however, combine the data, even if minimised in this way, with other processing (customer files or statistics of visits to other websites, for example), nor transmit them, in turn, to other third parties.
In order to offer visitors the possibility of viewing the privacy policy of the third party and/or to prevent the use of their data by Google Analytics, we invite you to consult the following links:

  • Google Maps Widget
The Google Maps widget provides customisable interactive maps that are included in the web pages of websites that use this service.  The website
https://www.hvhydraulic.com/ incorporates the Google Maps widget to allow the user to view the location of the HV HYDRAULIC SRL headquarters on the map. This service does not involve the installation of cookies by Google (third party). No information is shared by the site https://www.hvhydraulic.com/, where the Widget is embedded.
More information can be found at https://www.google.it/intl/it/policies/privacy/

Therefore, the website currently only uses technical cookies and/or cookies assimilated to technical cookies (NO profiling cookies or other tracking tools are used).

In general, apart from the type of cookies used by this website, we would like to inform Users that, in addition to the safeguards provided for by the legislation in force, there are options available for navigating without cookies, such as, for example:
  • Block third-party cookies: third-party cookies are generally not essential for browsing, so you can refuse them by default, using specific functions in your browser.
  • Enable the Do Not Track option: the Do Not Track option is present in most of the latest generation of browsers. Websites designed to comply with this option should automatically stop collecting certain browsing data when it is activated. As mentioned, however, not all websites are set up to respect this (discretionary) option.
  • Enable the "anonymous browsing" mode: with this function, you can browse without leaving any trace of your browsing data in the browser. Websites will not remember you, pages you visit will not be stored in your history and new cookies will be deleted. However, anonymous browsing does not guarantee anonymity on the Internet, as it only serves to keep your browsing data out of your browser, whereas your browsing data will continue to be available to website operators and connectivity providers.
  • Delete cookies directly: there are special functions for doing this in all browsers. However, you should remember that new cookies are downloaded every time you connect to the Internet, so you should delete them periodically. If you wish, some browsers offer automated systems to delete cookies periodically.
For any further information on the subject of so-called "cookies", please visit the following link:  http://www.garanteprivacy.it/cookie. In addition, to find out how to limit, block and/or remove the cookies set on your device, we recommend that you visit the following link: http://www.aboutcookies.org. As mentioned above, you can also manage your cookie preferences through your browser. To find out the type and version of the browser you are using, we recommend that you click on "Help" in the browser window at the top, where you can access all the necessary information.

Data provided voluntarily by the User.
Following consultation of this website, the Data Controller may process data relating to identified or identifiable persons. In particular, it is specified that such processing may take place in relation to personal data freely provided by Users who fill in specific data collection forms on the website ("forms") and/or send their information to the Data Controller through the addresses on the website (https://www.hvhydraulic.com/) such as, for example, the company's e-mail addresses (the optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary for the purpose of replying to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message). Specific detailed information on the processing of data, pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016, is provided, from time to time, on the pages where there are forms for the collection of visitors' data ("forms"). This information is aimed at defining the limits, purposes and methods of processing of each data collection form ("form") and, when necessary, each visitor will be able to freely express his/her consent and authorise the collection of data and its subsequent use. Please note that in no section of the website, nor for access to any functionality of the website, is the provision of "special categories of personal data" and/or "personal data relating to criminal convictions and offences" required, as defined by Articles 9 and 10 of EU Reg. 679/2016, required: if the User spontaneously sends the Data Controller information of the above-mentioned type, the Data Controller will process such data in compliance with the current legislation on the protection of personal data (EU Reg. 679/2016) and within the limits of what is strictly necessary in relation to the requests made by the concerned User. In general, with regard to the data voluntarily provided by the User, we wish to inform Users that EU Reg. 679/2016 (and Legislative Decree 196/2003 and subsequent amendments and additions, only insofar as it complies with EU Reg. 679/2016) provide for the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. According to this legislation, such processing will be based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency, protecting your confidentiality and your rights.
Pursuant to the aforementioned Article 13 of Reg. EU 679/2016, we provide you with the following information:
a) The processing that the Data Controller may carry out, will be carried out by automated process and/or paper-based methods.
b) The User is free to provide his/her own information by sending it to the Data Controller through the contact details on the website (https://www.hvhydraulic.com/) and/or by filling in specific information collection forms on the website; in the latter case, failure to provide certain data may, depending on the circumstances, make it impossible to carry out the activities requested by the User (e.g. see "mandatory fields" in the information collection forms).
c) Personal data will be processed by persons specifically appointed by the Data Controller as Data Processors (if appointed) and/or by anyone acting under their authority and/or under the authority of the Data Controller and who has access to personal data (Directors/Members/employees/collaborators of the Data Controller); these subjects will process your data only when necessary in relation to the purposes of the provision and only in the context of the performance of the tasks assigned to them by the Data Controller, undertaking to process only the data necessary for the performance of such tasks and to carry out only the operations necessary for the performance of such tasks.
d) Furthermore, personal data may be communicated to any third parties, only if this is strictly necessary and strictly functional to provide specific services or information requested by the User. The communications of data described above are strictly related to normal business operations within the management of the relationship and are strictly necessary for the purposes for which the data were provided. Your personal data will not be disseminated.
e) The Data Controller does not currently intend to transfer personal data to a third country or international organisation. Should the Data Controller proceed with a possible transfer of the data abroad, such transfer will take place exclusively in compliance with the provisions of "CHAPTER V - Transfers of personal data to third countries or international organisations" of EU Reg. 679/2016.
f) The data shall be kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was provided; the data shall be kept in a form which permits identification of the Data Subject for a period of time not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed, after which it shall be deleted unless it is transformed into an anonymous form.
g) The personal data provided will not be processed in order to carry out an automated decision-making process.
h) In the event that the personal data provided is to be processed for purposes other than and in addition to those indicated above, the Data Controller shall provide you with information regarding such different purposes and any other relevant information.
i) The data will be processed using methods and tools suitable to guarantee their security (art. 24, 25 and 32 EU Reg. 679/2016) and will be carried out through automated process and through non-automated means (paper archives), to which technical and organisational measures will be applied to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, so as to ensure on a permanent basis, their confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of the processing systems and services.
j) We inform you that the processing of data will be based, as the case may be, on specific legal bases provided for by EU Reg. 679/2016 (in each information document published on the website the specific legal bases of each data processing carried out will be reported). In general, each User is free to provide his/her own information by sending it to the Data Controller through the contact details on the website (https://www.hvhydraulic.com/) and/or by filling in specific data collection forms on the website ("forms"); in the latter case, failure to provide certain data may, depending on the circumstances, make it impossible to carry out the activities requested by the User (in particular, see "mandatory fields" in the information collection forms).
